Jorrell Ellis and Rocky Hernandez aka "CannabizRocky" have been working as budtenders in the cannabis industry for a little over 4 years. They met working at a dispensary in Las Vegas and since the moment they met, they have been close friends. They started this podcast to exude the passion they have for plant and to help in the fight to end the stigma behind cannabis, provide education to those who need it, and to be a voice for the budtenders, who are the foundation of industry. 

Jorrell Ellis is a California native that has quickly adapted to the Vegas lifestyle and cannabis community. He has 2 beautiful daughter and is currently a manager at a dispensary in Las Vegas.

CannabizRocky was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and has been residing in Vegas for over 3 years. She has also quickly adapted to the Vegas cannabis lifestyle, taking home a first annual Budtender Award in 2019, she won the "LGBTQ Your Choice" Award sponsored by Budtender Awards and Fruit Slabs in 2021, and she was nominated for Female Entrepreneur of The Year by Las Vegas Cannabis Awards Official 2020 and 2021.

High Budtenders were nominated for "Best Podcast" at the 2021 Las Vegas Cannabis Awards and they have both been smoking longer than you've had your family pet!
